How to Implement IAB TCF v2.2 with Lawwwing?​

Ensure that the Activate IAB TCF v2.2 framework is enabled in your Lawwwing control panel. Here's how you can enable this feature:

  1. Log in to your Lawwwing account.
  2. Select the website where you want to enable Activate IAB TCF v2.2 framework.
  3. Go to the Customization > Design section.
  4. Verify that the feature is enabled in your dashboard "Activate IAB TCF v2.2 framework".

  1. Save the configuration, and Lawwwing will display the consent banner according to IAB TCF v2.2 and record user consent preferences.

IAB TCF 2.2 with Google Services​

If you use any Google tools on your website, by enabling the use of the IAB TCF v2.2 framework in Lawwwing, it will be used to communicate the consent status of your users to Google.

The TCData will be updated (TCData.enableAdvertiserConsentMode) so that Google can infer the settings of ad_storage, ad_personalization, and ad_user_data from the TC string. This incorporates the updates from Google Consent Mode v2 directly into the TCString.

IAB TCF 2.2 with Microsoft Services​

If you use Microsoft's Universal Event Tracking (UET) on your website, by enabling the use of the IAB TCF v2.2 framework in Lawwwing, it will be used to communicate the consent status of your users to Microsoft.

The window.uetq object will be updated so that Microsoft can infer the ad_storage settings from the TC string. This incorporates the updates from Microsoft Advertising directly into the TCString.
