Troubleshooting
On this page, you will find step-by-step guides to resolve the most common issues detected by the Lawwwing Diagnostic Tool.
❌ Google Tags (Gtag/GTM)
Symptom · "No Google tags found on this page."
If the diagnostic tool could not find Google tags (Gtag or GTM) on your website, follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have correctly installed the Google Tag Manager or Gtag code on your website. You can find installation instructions at the following links:
2. If you have installed the code correctly but the diagnostic tool still cannot find the tags, make sure the code is inserted on all pages of your website. You can use the Google Tag Assistant tool to verify if the tags are working properly.
3. Once you have verified that the tags are installed correctly, run the diagnostic tool again to check if the issue has been resolved.
If you have installed Google Tag Manager, make sure you have published the container after making changes. If you haven't, the changes will not be reflected on your website.
Make sure you do not have ad blockers or extensions that may interfere with the loading of Google tags.
❌ Default Consent Values

3. Once you have verified that the Lawwwing script is installed correctly, run the diagnostic tool again to check if the issue has been resolved.
❌ Default Consent Sent on Time
Symptom · "Some tags were executed before the default consent values were set."
If the diagnostic tool has detected that the default consent values were not set in time, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the Lawwwing script loads before any other third-party script that depends on user consent.
- It must be in the
<head>
section of your website, before any other script that depends on user consent.
2. (Optional) If you have configured the Lawwwing script to load asynchronously (async or defer):
- Follow the instructions in the Advanced Configuration Guide to ensure that consent values are set correctly before third-party scripts are loaded or executed.
3. Run the diagnostic tool again to check if the issue has been resolved.
❌ Consent Update
